Do you accept dental insurance?
Dr. Marcano is an in-network provider for MetLife and Delta Dental. We'll gladly file your in-network or out-of-network claim and work with your insurance company to maximize benefits. Please call our Sarasota dental office if you have questions about your insurance coverage.
Does my insurance cover that?
Dental insurance is diverse. Some policies cover only a small percentage of fees; others cover 50% or greater. The more you or your employer pays for premiums, the better the coverage, in most cases. Typically, dental insurance covers some restorative and preventive procedures. Cosmetic treatment is not usually covered. We accept CareCredit to make cosmetic dentistry affordable for all of our patients. If you have questions, give us a call. We'll be happy to tell you what your insurance will cover.
How much will my treatment cost?
Treatment costs vary depending on the procedures you require. We'll give you a cost estimate to review prior to beginning treatment. This eliminates surprises and helps you plan for your dental care. You may be eligible for low- or no-interest financing through CareCredit. More information is available on their websites.
Do you offer financing?
We strive to make dental care affordable for everyone. Third-party financing, often with low or no interest for qualified applicants, is available through CareCredit. Please see their websites for details.
Do you accept referrals?
Yes, and thank you for your confidence. We appreciate your referrals and promise to extend the same comprehensive, caring service to your friends, family members, and coworkers that we give you every time you visit.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Your time is precious, as is the time of all of our valued patients. Please give us 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule so that we can give another patient your time slot.
Do you refer patients to specialists?
While we're trained and equipped to handle many dental issues in our office, when a specialist would better serve you, we'll refer. Some dental specialists are oral surgeons, periodontists (supporting structures), endodontists (internal tooth problems), orthodontists (for moving teeth), and pedodontists (for children). We refer to only trusted professionals with whom we have a good rapport.
