Your First Visit and Exam
We'll reserve an hour for your initial appointment. When you arrive, you'll be warmly greeted and given new patient paperwork to complete. A friendly member of our staff will review your forms and discuss the reasons for your visit, then escort you to a comfortable treatment room where you'll meet the dentist and receive a comprehensive exam.
Dr. Marcano will look over your health history, then discuss your current concerns and ask about your dental goals. He'll scan your teeth for decay with a non-invasive DIAGNOdent laser, check your gums for signs of periodontal disease or Gum Disease, and assess your bite to determine how your upper and lower teeth fit together. An Oral Cancer screening with ViziLite technology will reveal any suspicious lesions that require follow-up.
During your exam, we'll take pictures inside your mouth with a small, handheld Intraoral Camera and display the images on your chairside monitor. Dr. Marcano will use the photos to explain his findings, then partner with you to determine a treatment plan that addresses your needs, fits your budget, and works for your schedule.

Insurance Information
Dr. Marcano is an in-network provider with MetLife, Delta Dental, Aetna, Assurant and Solstice. Our insurance specialist will electronically file your claim and provide necessary X-Rays and clinical information as a courtesy to you. We'll also file your PPO out-of-network claim and work with your insurance company to optimize benefits.
